Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele says a new 25-million dollar terminal at Mitchell International Airport wouldn’t cost taxpayers anything extra. The new international terminal is part of Abele’s one-point-one-six-billion dollar county budget proposal for 2018. Abele says the money for the terminal would come from revenue bonds and airport funds. The budget plan includes more than one-million dollars to fight the opioid crisis, three-million for the Milwaukee County Zoo and one million to reduce homelessness. The proposal was presented Thursday morning.
