A flash flood watch is in effect for far northwest Wisconsin tonight (Monday) and into Tuesday. The National Weather Service says heavy rains fell during the night in the Duluth/Superior region — and another 1-3 inches are possible from late afternoon until the sun comes up tomorrow (Tuesday). Some of the storms could also bring large hail and damaging winds, and the weather service urges motorists to be careful for possible road washouts. The Wisconsin counties of Douglas and Burnett are included in the flood watch, along with several counties in neighboring Minnesota.
