Yesterday afternoon, a house fire broke out in Rockwood, just north of Manitowoc. According to Rockwood Fire Chief, Gave Hardgrath not much is known about the cause of the blaze. What we do know, is that no one was injured as a result of the fire, and the home will most likely be a total loss. The Fire Chief told us that he estimates 60 personnel from 8 or 9 different departments were on the ground to battle the inferno. He also informed us, that crews were on the scene this morning to take care of some hot spots. The Fire Marshall will be on hand today to assist with the investigation.
