Bart Starr’s family says the 1960’s Green Bay quarterback legend is in his best health of the year right now. And if it stays that way, the Press Gazette says the family hopes to bring Starr to a Packers’ game this fall — maybe the October 22nd game against New Orleans, the weekend when the 1967 championship team that he quarterbacked will be honored. The 83-year-old Starr has been dealing with issues resulting from a heart attack and multiple seizures and strokes the past several years. He stole the show on his last trip to Green Bay, when he went on the field to celebrate Brett Favre’s unveiling of his retired Number Four on the Lambeau Field facade on Thanksgiving Night in 2015. Meanwhile, the current Packers are returning today (Tuesday) as they prepare for Sunday’s road contest at Dallas.
