The N-F-L has reduced the suspension of Chicago Bears’ linebacker Danny Trevathan from two games to one. That was after Trevathan appealed his original punishment for hitting Green Bay Packers’ receiver Davante Adams in the head with his helmet in last Thursday night’s 35-14 Packers’ victory. Adams spent one night in a hospital before going home with a concussion — and as he goes through the league’s concussion protocol, there’s a chance Adams can play on Sunday at Dallas. Meanwhile, Packers’ running back Ty Montgomery says he suffered “multiple broken ribs” in a collision in which Trevathan pushed his knee into the runner’s rib cage. Despite that, Montgomery says he hopes to play against the Cowboys and the 3-1 Packers will start practicing for that contest today (Wednesday).
