Now that a site has been selected, Foxconn is starting to look for people to work at the ten-billion dollar high tech plant it’s about to build. The Taiwanese firm has a booth at job fair today (Thursday) at U-W Milwaukee. Bonnie O’Neill, a management instructor at Marquette University, says the first hires will be the managers. Foxconn has posted about 30 positions online — everything from recruiters to mechanical engineers to a payroll benefit coordinator. The company expects to have around three thousand jobs early on, and 13-thousand jobs eventually with an average salary of 53-thousand dollars a year and a entry level pay of 20-dollars an hour.
