Two men facing several drug related drug charges in separate cases appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit Court for bail hearings this afternoon 34- year- old Joshua James Kunish is charged with carrying a concealed knife—possession of drug paraphernalia—possession of heroin—fentanyl and marijuana and being a drug repeater. Officers conducting a park check at Red Arrow early this morning encountered Kunish who had a felony warrant through probation and parole for numerous prior drug convictions. He was also in violation of a Manitowoc City ordinance—loitering in a park after hours. Kunish remains in the county jail in lieu of $2000 cash and has an initial appearance scheduled for October 16th at 2:30. Meanwhile 20- year- old Rowdy J. Petershek is charged with possession of methamphetamine—heroin—marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police were patrolling the area of evergreen cemetery about 6:15 last night and saw a vehicle parked along the south border when the officer saw Petershek get out of his vehicle suspiciously. Upon approach the patrolman noticed a male and female passenger and ordered to stand at the rear of the vehicle. The officer also could smell the odor of burnt THC. He unlocked the glove compartment and discovered several items including a container of marijuana—meth and THC smoking devices—digital scale and an amount of crystal meth. Bail of $500 cash was posted with conditions that Petershek have no contact with any drug dealers or users and maintain absolute sobriety. His initial appearance is scheduled for Cctober 16th at 2:30.
