Ex Firefighter Gets Prison For Child Porn Possession

A former Milwaukee firefighter has been sentenced to six and a half years in prison for distributing child pornography. Forty-five-year-old Robert Rutley will also have ten years of federal supervision once he’s no longer behind bars. Prosecutors say Rutley was caught with thousands of child pornographic images that were downloaded and sent to others during the last half of 2016 — and some of that happened while he was on duty at a south side Milwaukee fire station. Before that, Rutley spent 22 years in the city’s fire department.
