The Wisconsin football team is now in the top seven of both national polls, after their 38-17 win at Nebraska on Saturday night. The Badgers moved up two spots from last week in each poll, and they’re now ranked seventh by the media and sixth by the coaches. The Badgers are 5-0 for the first time since 2011, and they now lead the Big Ten’s West Division at 2-0 in league play with Nebraska second at 2-1.
Menomonie Wisconsin Native Nathan Stanley lead Iowa to a 45-16 win over Illinois during their homecoming game on Saturday. Stanley threw for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns, snapping a 2 game losing streak for the Hawkeyes. Iowa is off this week, and will play Northwestern on October 21st.
