A 23 year old Manitowoc man is in police custody after an incident a bar on South 10th Street. Just before 1:30 AM on Sunday, the man was asked to leave the bar when the owner overheard him say he was going to hurt a fellow patron. The man smashed a glass against the wall before leaving, prompting the call to police. Police discovered the man had an open case in Fond du Lac County, which required absolute sobriety, and disallowed him from entering any bars or taverns. A search of the man uncovered a concealed knife, which he was not allowed to have because he is also a convicted felon. He brought in on charges of misdemeanor bail jumping and carrying a concealed knife.
