Former Brewers’ starter Zack Greinke takes the loss as his Arizona Diamondbacks are swept from the N-L Division Series with a 3-1 home loss to the L-A Dodgers Monday night. Greinke gave up all three Dodger runs in five innings and former Brewer Jorge De La Rosa followed him, giving up one hit in one third of an inning. The Dodgers will now play either the Chicago Cubs or Washington in the N-L title series. The Cubs are up two games to one in their Division Series after beating the Nats 2-1 at Wrigley Field Monday as former Milwaukee reliever Brandon Kintzler took the loss by giving up the decisive run in the eighth inning. In the American League Division Series, Houston advanced to the next round with a 5-4 win at Boston — and the Astros will play either Cleveland or the Yankees who are tied 2-2 in their best of five set.
