The Green Bay Packers will start practicing today (Wednesday) for their game Sunday at Minnesota. One of the big storylines will be at running back, where rookie Aaron Jones is tearing up the field while starter Ty Montgomery recovers from broken ribs suffered 13 days ago against Chicago. On Gannett’s “Clubhouse Live,” Montgomery said he’s feeling better than last week but could not say when he’ll return. Jones is coming off a 125 yard rushing day in Green Bay’s win at Dallas which moved the Packers into sole possession of first in the N-F-C North at 4-1 while the Vikes are tied with Detroit for second at 3-2. Meanwhile, N-F-L Network says there’s a good chance Case Keenum will start at quarterback again for Minnesota on Sunday, although an M-R-I showed that Sam Bradford did not aggravate previous knee injuries Monday night at Chicago.
