The undefeated Wisconsin football team gets two more weekly honors. Senior linebacker Leon Jacobs has been named the Big Ten’s defensive player of the week after his fourth quarter interception that preserved the Badgers’ victory against Purdue. Running back Jonathan Taylor was named the freshman of the week for the third time this season, after he had a season high 30 carries for 219 yards and one touchdown against the Boilermakers. Fifth ranked Wisconsin is now 6-0 overall and will host Maryland on Saturday.
