Milwaukee Bucks’ forward Jabari Parker did not get a contract extension before the N-B-A’s deadline Monday to re-up with rookies from 2014. That means he’ll be a restricted free agent next summer, and the Bucks would have to match offers from other teams in order to keep him. Parker has torn the A-C-L in his left knee twice since he became the N-B-A’s Number two overall draft choice in 2014. His latest injury came in February, and his agent Mark Bartelstein says Parker “could not be more excited about where he is physically.” He’s running once again — he plays against teammates in one on one drills — and his agent expects Parker to be “even more athletic” after his scheduled return next February.
