Giannis Antetokounmpo has 37 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists as the Milwaukee Bucks win their regular season opener at Boston, 108-100. The Bucks led by five at the half, but the Celtics used a 16-4 run to lead by four going into the final period. The Bucks tied the game with six and a half minutes left, and then built a seven point lead as the Celts failed to score a field goal in a four and a half minute stretch. Milwaukee hung on from there, outshooting Boston 50-to-43-percent as Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with 18 points and Kyrie Irving added 17. Milwaukee backup center Greg Monroe had stitches to treat a cut to his right eye suffered late in the first quarter — and the 1-0 Bucks will now get ready to host Cleveland tomorrow (Friday) night in the Bucks’ home opener.
