Brett Hundley has strong confidence going into his first N-F-L start for the Packers on Sunday at home against New Orleans. The third year pro had his first full practice with the Number One offense Wednesday in place of the injured Aaron Rodgers and Hundley then said, “Aaron’s a Hall of Famer, and I want to be a Hall of Famer one day … I will lead this team.” Hundley won’t have much to build on after having three interceptions, one touchdown, and a meager 39-point-six passer rating in relief of Rodgers last week at Minnesota. But coach Mike McCarthy says Hundley is a lot more comfortable with the system than Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien were in 2013, when Rodgers missed seven weeks. Hundley will need a good offensive line — and starting guard Lane Taylor missed practice Wednesday with a bad ankle while starting tackles Bryan Bulaga and David Bahktiari were both limited.
