The Wisconsin football team continues to get ready for its Saturday contest at Illinois. Among other things, the Badgers have created a two man committee at left guard, where starter Jon Dietzen has had limited time due to ongoing toe and ankle injuries. Redshirt sophomore Jason Erdmann has relieved Dietzen — and Erdmann is getting good reviews from his teammates after playing all but the first series last Saturday against Maryland. Dietzen has started five of Wisconsin’s seven contests so far. The fifth ranked U-W comes in at 7-0 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten, while Illinois has yet to win a conference game in four tries and is 2-5 overall.
