The Wisconsin football team moves up to fourth in both national polls, still 8-0 despite losing two key players in a 24-10 victory at Illinois on Saturday. Freshman running back Jonathan Taylor left early in the second quarter with a left leg injury, and senior safety D’Cota Dixon was a last minute scratch after hurting his right leg in practice late last week. Wisconsin had its second lowest rushing output of the season with 168 yards against the Illini. But the performance was good enough to be one of just three 8-0 teams in both the media and the coaches’ Top 25s, with the first College Football Playoff Rankings due out tomorrow (Tuesday) night. The Badgers are 5-0 in the Big Ten with a two game lead on both Nebraska and Northwestern in the West Division — and the U-W plays at Indiana on Saturday.
