Freshman Kobe King stands out for the Wisconsin men’s basketball team in a 69-38 exhibition win against Northern Iowa on Wednesday night in Madison. The Panthers jumped out to a 10-2 lead in the first six minutes when King entered the game, made all of his first four shots, and helped the Badgers go on a 20-2 run which put them in front for good. King, Wisconsin’s high school player of the year last season at La Crosse Central, scored a game high 15 points. Juwan McCloud from Germantown scored ten points for Northern Iowa, which started the second half with a 7-0 run before the U-W scored 16 straight to pull away.
