A second state agency is trying to recover money it overpaid to some temporary workers. The Health Services department said it overlooked a change in state law last year, which limited how much certain temps could be paid. As a result, a half dozen psychiatric care technicians at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in Oshkosh have been told to either quit, or pay back what they were overpaid — ranging from 557-dollars to 23-hundred. This summer, the Corrections Department found that it overpaid some employees. Five kept their jobs by returning their excess wages and seven resigned, including one who reportedly owed 15-thousand dollars.
