The incentives being offered to Oshkosh Corporation by the city would benefit the business for the next 20 years. Oshkosh is hoping the company will build a headquarters facility worth at least 18-million dollars. If Oshkosh Corporation puts its global headquarters in Winnebago County, it could mean an additional 300 jobs for the region and nearly one-and-a-half-million dollars-a-year in tax revenues. If it moves elsewhere, 775 jobs would be lost. The Oshkosh Common Council will consider the incentive package at its meeting next week.
