A former police officer with the Menominee Tribe faces several sex crime charges involving a 15-year-old girl. The tribal leadership says Basil O’Kimosh Junior has been fired. He is accused of transferring obscene material to a minor under 16, engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a minor under 18, and attempted enticement of a child. The girl’s mother found sexually explicit messages to her daughter last week and reported them to the Tribal Police Department. An agent took over the girl’s Snapchat account and O’Kimosh allegedly sent her a naked picture, asked for naked pictures of the minor and continued to ask for sex.
