Hewlett Packard Enterprise is moving an unspecified number of employees from its Houston location to a new site in Chippewa Falls. Two major floods and Hurricane Harvey have impacted that major city in the last three years, leading the company to make the re-location decision. No time-line for the move has been revealed. H-P-E says the hurricane damaged its Houston manufacturing facility so badly it can’t be repaired. Rather than rebuild, the manufacturing effort will be moved north to Chippewa Falls.
