The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports a 28-year-old man trying to run from a traffic stop was hit by another vehicle Saturday night. The man was pulled over by a deputy at about 9:30 p-m. As the deputy was coming up to talk to the driver, he left his vehicle and tried to run away. A northbound vehicle on Stoughton Road hit him. His name hasn’t been released. The man was taken to U-W Hospital with injuries which aren’t life-threatening. The Madison police department is investigating the accident.
