Unbeaten Wisconsin moves up one spot to Number eight in the College Football Playoff Rankings released Tuesday night. The Badgers did not rise as much as some analysts expected, after Wisconsin crushed Indiana last Saturday while Ohio State and Penn State both lost. Both those teams dropped seven spots out of the Top Ten in the new rankings, with Ohio State 13th and Penn State 14th, both at 7-2. T-C-U moved up two places to sixth, and Miami moved past the U-W to Number seven. Critics have said the Badgers haven’t played a ranked team, but they’ll get a chance to do so on Saturday when they host Iowa as the Hawkeyes made their debut in the playoff rankings at Number 20.
