Two Manitowoc residents appeared for bail hearings this afternoon on drug charges. 27- year- old Christopher A. Hunter is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia while 24-year-old Angelique N. Hunter was arrested on felony possession of methamphetamine. Police responded to a southside residence shortly after 4 yesterday afternoon for a “suspect vehicle” parked at an apartment complex. When Christopher opened the door officers saw multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia were discovered in the passenger side door utility pocket. A thorough search revealed more drug paraphernalia along with a gem bag containing a substance that later tested positive for three-tenths of a gram of meth. Christopher’s bail was set at $100 recognizance bond but he remains in the county jail on a probation hold. Angelique is free on a $2000 recognizance bond with conditions that she maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol—not possess any controlled substances and report to the city police department for photos and prints. Both have initial appearances scheduled for November 27th.
