The Wisconsin football team rises one place to Number five in the national media poll, but the Badgers dropped one spot to fourth in the coaches’ survey despite going 10-0 with their home win against Iowa. The Badgers are expected to rise from eighth in the Playoff Rankings when they’re announced tomorrow (Tuesday) night, after Number One Georgia lost to Auburn. In Division Three, a pair of Wisconsin schools have made the 32 team football playoff field announced Sunday night. They’ll face each other on Saturday when W-I-A-C champion U-W Oshkosh hosts Lakeland, which received the N-A-C-C’s automatic berth. Oshkosh is ranked third in the final regular season “D” Three Dot Com poll, Whitewater 23rd, and La Crosse 24th with Platteville receiving votes.
