It is opening night for some local and area high school girls basketball teams. First night action includes Denmark at Roncalli, Mishicot a Two Rivers, defending state champion Howards Grove at Sheboygan Falls, Southern Door at Brillion, New Holstein at Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Oostburg at St. Mary Springs, Sheboygan Lutheran hosting Living Word Lutheran, and Sheboygan Christian at home against Central Wisconsin Christian. The play by play schedule has the Jets and Vikings on WOMT and www.womtradio.com, while the Raiders and Indians will be on AM-980 WCUB. Varsity tip off is at 7:15 at both locations.
Also on tap tonight, Silver Lake College’s men’s basketball team will be traveling to play Chicago State University at 7:00 PM.
