A Jackson County man has been charged with drug possession with intent to sell after his arrest at a gas station in Hixton Friday. Deputies were called to the location by a report of suspicious activity. Investigators say a K-9 officer alerted to the presence of drugs in Nickolas Peterson’s car. Deputies found two ounces of suspected marijuana and more than five grams of what appeared to be crystal meth. Peterson was arrested and booked into the county jail. He has a court appearance scheduled for November 27th.
