Madison police say a man suspected of stabbing a woman in a car in Madison has been arrested in Chicago. Police say Tony M. Mason was arrested Friday night in Chicago by a Chicago Police Department tactical unit. Television station W-I-S-C reports that investigators say a Madison woman in her 40s was traveling in a car around noon on November 1th0 with a man she knows when she got out of the vehicle near the bike path at John Nolen Drive and Broom Street with a life-threatening stab wound. An arrest warrant for Mason was issued that day. Police have not offered a motive for the stabbing.
