A former Milwaukee pro soccer player is accused of rear ending a car, and helping a passenger leave the scene after that person shot two people in the car that was hit. Thirty-year-old Tyrone Gordon played for the indoor Milwaukee Wave from 2006 to ’08, and both he and 28-year-old Evan Brookshire are charged with attempted homicide as parties to the crime. According to prosecutors, Gordon bumped into a car that was stopped at a light — and both he and the other driver checked for damage and saw none. Brookshire, meanwhile, allegedly had words with a passenger in the other car, and he fired shots at that car’s occupants and wounded one in the leg and another in the chest. Gordon was a volunteer soccer coach at Milwaukee Vincent High School — and he was let go in June. He has a pretrial hearing set for January 26th, while Brookshire has apparently taken a plea deal and will appear on that January 12th.
