Almost 20 Wisconsin National Guard soldiers have made it back for the Thanksgiving weekend, after spending a month in the Virgin Islands. They provided medevac services to a joint Guard task force — and they helped first responders and civil personnel in the Virgin Islands with medical assistance. Also, four airmen from the Air National Guard’s 128th Refueling Wing are back home after a tour of duty in Puerto Rico, where they helped manage airfields in the wake of the hurricane which ravaged that island.
