The undefeated Virginia Cavaliers offer a strong challenge for Wisconsin coach Greg Gard and his young team.  Through the first two weeks of the season, the 6-0 Cavaliers are the number-one defensive squad in the nation, according to the Pomeroy College Basketball Ratings.  This is the first true road game of the early season for the 3-3 Badgers.  Sophomore guard Kyle Guy leads Virginia scoring with almost 16 points-a-game.  He’s hitting more than 48 percent of his 3-point shots.  Gard and Virginia coach Tony Bennett were both former Badger coach Bo Ryan’s staff in Madison from 2001-to-2003.  Tip-off for the game in the A-C-C, Big Ten Challenge is 8 P-M.
