A 54-year-old Superior man is facing a felony fifth offense charge of operating while intoxicated. Mitchel Thomas Gray was arrested during a traffic stop. A Superior police officer ran the plate on a vehicle he was watching November 17th and found its driver had a suspended license. Gray didn’t stop at first and the officer says, when he did, he had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. Gray reportedly failed field sobriety tests and his blood-alcohol content registered above the legal limit. He has three prior convictions for O-W-I in Wisconsin and one charge in Minnesota. Gray’s next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
