It was more than a game of pitch-and-catch. Packers fans watching quarterback Aaron Rodgers throw the football before Sunday night’s game were excited to see the throwing about 40 passes on the turf at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh before the game with the Steelers. The two-time N-F-L Most Valuable Player has missed six games and will miss more before rejoining the lineup. Rodgers threw one spiral — seemingly without much effort — which went about 50 yards. Thursday of this week will mark six weeks since he had surgery for a broken collarbone. Rodgers will be eligible to return to action starting Week-15 against the Carolina Panthers.
