There was a full slate of basketball games last night. In non-conference Boys High School Basketball, Green Bay East outlasted Manitowoc Lincoln 52-49 in OT, West De Pere topped Ashwaubenon 69-62, and Chilton stomped Gibraltar 55-30. In Big East Action, Manitowoc Lutheran is now 2-0 after doubling up Mishicot 88-43. Meanwhile, Sheboygan Lutheran crushed Reedsville 85-45, Oostburg beat Sheboygan Christian 54-42, and St Mary Catholic edged Cedar Grove-Belgium 53-43.
In Girls High School non-conference play, Manitowoc Lincoln absolutely demolished Green Bat East 75-15, Manitowoc Lutheran bested Winnebago Lutheran 66-50, and Seymour handled Pulaski 68-48. In EWC play, Kiel topped Roncalli 70-57, Valders had their way with Two Rivers wining 63-17, and Brillion beat New Holstein 65-35. Denmark edged Clintonville 51-47 in North Eastern Conference ball, while the lone FRCC matchup saw Bayport crush Sheboygan South 74-30.
Lastly in local men’s College ball, Lawrence University in Appleton topped Silver Lake College 83-65.
