There was a full slate of high school basketball played last night. Starting with the boys in the EWC, Roncalli drained 13 three pointers en route to a victory over Chilton 88-61, Brillion edged Two Rivers 49-40, Valders had their way with Sheboygan Falls 72-60, and New Holstein bested Kiel 63-46. The Vikings and Huskies both remain unbeaten and tied atop the EWC Standings.
In the Big East, Howards Grove stomped Sheboygan Christian 45-26, Kohler blasted Mishicot 81-48, Hilbert had little trouble with Ozaukee winning 58-36, Sheboygan Lutheran topped Random Lake 66-49, and St Mary Catholic walked all over Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, 77-38. Manitowoc Lutheran and Reedsville, who are both unbeaten so far, had the night off.
Moving over to the girls games in the FRCC, Green Bay Preble doubled up Manitowoc Lincoln 61-29, De Pere tripled up on Sheboygan South 64-19, Bay Port snuck by Ashwaubenon 48-44, and Green Bay Southwest edged Pulaski 62-58.
In the Packerland Conference, Kewaunee eeked one out against Oconto 49-48, Algoma scored almost six times as many points as Sevestapol, winning 58-10, while Southern Door almost tripled up Sturgeon Bay, 66-26.
In the Lone North Eastern Conference matchup, West De Pere beat Denmark 69-48.
