Several local members of the FFA were awarded grants recently. Every year the Wisconsin FFA Foundation awards Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) grants to a total of 48 Wisconsin FFA members. This year, SAE grants were awarded in five categories: dairy, grain production, livestock, organic agriculture and start-up. Successful candidates were chosen based on the level and scope of their SAE in accordance with their age, future goals and plans for the program, as well as financial need. Local recipients include Zach Olson, from Southern Door FFA, who received $1,000, as well as Jared Abraham, from Plymouth FFA Zachary DuCharme, of Clinton FFA; and Landon Holewinski, from the Pulaski FFA, who all received $750.
