Manitowoc Police are still looking for clues and the suspects involved in an early Christmas day burglary on the city’s northeast side. Lieutenant Robert Arps said this morning (today) that officers were called to the Lakeshore Shell and Dairy Queen businesses on Memorial Drive for an active alarm, just before 2am. Authorities found the drive-thru window for dairy queen was broken and pushed-in…and an exterior door was unlocked. Multiple cash registers & a safe were entered between the two businesses and thieves made-off with approximately $1500-dollars in currency. The intruders also stole 13-cartons of Newport cigarettes and other miscellaneous items.
