Deputies in three counties were involved in a high-speed chase Christmas morning before finally taking a 25-year-old Appleton man into custody. A Fond du Lac County deputy tried to stop a vehicle for speeding on Interstate 41 shortly before 1:00 a-m, but the driver wouldn’t stop and took off at speeds of more than 100 miles-an-hour. He drove over two sets of stop sticks, passing through Dodge County before finally stopping in Washington County. His name hasn’t been released. The vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen in Oshkosh.
