Police say thousands of dollars worth of tools were stolen from a Madison job site on Christmas Day. The Madison Police Department says a construction company superintendent reported the theft Tuesday morning after finding that someone had forced entry into a construction box at the site. Police say The box was in a secure area of a building that’s under construction. More than 45-hundred dollars worth of tools and equipment were reported stolen. Investigators say a burglar cut through insulation and plastic wrap to get inside.
