The individual responsible for robbing the CVS Pharmacy has been captured and identified. During a news conference, Captain of Detectives at the Manitowoc Police Department, Dave Vorpahl, informed the public that 17 year old Andrew Hainey from Manitowoc was the individual responsible. Hainey was identified using a combination of surveillance video and witness interviews. Two other individuals were arrested in connection as well. 38 year old Jacob Haushultz of Manitowoc was taken in for a bench warrant, obstructing, and felony bail jumping, and an unnamed 17 year old Manitowoc teen was arrested for a probation hold. Hainey allegedly entered the CVS Pharmacy at 701 East Reed Avenue at around 8:30 on Tuesday evening, brandished a knife, and demanded money. The amount taken has not been disclosed. Hainy’s bail is set at $5000.
