The Republican Party retains control of the Legislature, despite the announcement that two G-O-P members are resigning to take positions with the Walker administration. Senator Frank Lasee (luh SAY) and Representative Keith Ripp assume their new positions Monday. Lasee will become administrator of the Department of Workforce Development’s Worker’s Compensation Division, while Ripp will become an assistant deputy secretary for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
