A 48-year-old man charged with 16 felonies is asking a Winnebago County judge to dismiss one of the counts. Brian Flatoff also wants to be tried on two other counts in a separate trial. Flatoff is accused of taking hostages in a deadly standoff at Eagle Nation Cycles in Neenah December 5th, 2015. Hostage Michael Funk was killed during the shootout with police. A decision could be made at a motions hearing scheduled for January 17th. Trial for Flatoff is currently on the court calendar for March 5th, but the case has already been delayed several times.
