Wisconsin is one of the 10 states where United Van Lines reports more people are moving out than are moving in. The company’s annual movers study was released this week. It shows Americans are moving to mountain states and the Pacific Northwest, while moving from Northeast and Midwest states. The study tracks customers’ state-to-state migration patterns over the previous 12 months. Illinois saw the most customers moving out. Of the people who contracted with United Van Lines for its services in Wisconsin, 55 percent of them were moving away from the Badger State.
