That city contractor could lose millions in response to posted pictures of its employees carrying guns at a worksite and a K-K-K sticker on a food cooler. Some of the work has already been completed, making it difficult to terminate the agreements. Emotions were high as two south-side aldermen said the sanctions being proposed were too hard on a company with 30 years of “stellar service.” Another alderman says the facts show the company clearly tolerated racism.
