Two area teachers are among 126 Wisconsin Educators who earned a National Certification in 2017. They include Dannielle Arneson and Gary Kalk from the Howards Grove School District. There were an additional 44 teachers who renewed their certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Those recertified teachers in clude five instructors in the Manitowoc Public School District: Andrew Evenson, Rachel George, Tammy Hyler, Carl Sieracki, and Deanne Stokes, as well as Kiel’s Jessica Grunke. State Superintendent Tony Evers, said in part, “Those who have gone through the process call it the most transforming experience of their careers. They say it makes them better teachers for our kids, and better representatives of teaching in their schools and communities.”
