The Roncalli High School Boys Basketball team received a challenge from visiting Chilton last night. But, the Jets were able to stem the tide on parents night…and defeated the young, improving Tigers 59-49 on Kersten Court.  Junior guard Chombi Lambert, who scored a school-record 45-points Saturday night, led his team again in the EWC victory.  Lambert scored a game-high 23 points including 13-of-14 from the free throw line as he inches ever so close to the 1,ooo point mark of his prep career.  Roncalli was 22-of-28 from the charity stripe..while Chilton was just 9-of-21.  With Mitchel Schneider still out with an ankle injury, Matt Levene chipped in 15-points & 7-rebounds….Ian Wagner added 10-points for the jets, now 15-and-4, 8-and-3 in conference.  For the Tigers…(7-&-12, and 4-&-7) Camden Bowe, one of 3 sophomore starters, led the way with 12.  After last night’s game, Coach Joe Garceau termedit a “playoff-type survive and advance” scenario.

Garceau…on Chombi Lambert and Ian Behringer putting in some extra work on
their foul shots during the lunch hour at school.

Roncalli will host Valders next Tuesday night.
