The Oshkosh Corporation has announced that they has received an Army contract worth $476 Million to build the next generation of medium tactical vehicles. The Oshkosh Corp. has received a contract like this in the past, supplying many of the vehicles used in Afghanistan and Iraq. The new contract does not specify a maximum number of vehicles that will be produced, but they will be building 16 new models with trailers, that can handle up to 10 tons. These new tactical vehicles will be used to support combat missions, in relief efforts and logistics and supply operations.
