The City of Manitowoc Public Safety Committee will gather this evening in the Council Chambers for their monthly meeting at 6:00 PM. Some new business will be discussed, including supplying summer crossing guard support at Jackson Elementary School. There are a few topics of old business that must also be attended to as well, including discussion on a citizen request for pedestrian warning lights on the Southeast corner of the intersection of South 23rdand Dewey Streets. There are also 10 properties that may be subject to acquisition and demolition, as identified by Mayor Justin Nickels. As always, the public is welcome to attend.
